Leesey is an NYC based artist whose practice is inspired by surrealism, vintage graphic design, and the plastic creatures of a science museum. She received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan’s STAMPS School of Art and Design, and often incorporates mixed media into her work, enlivening her art with the unique energies and perspectives that paint, markers, and pastels provide.
Leesey enjoys creating narratives through her pieces that reflect her life; colorful, fun, and a little bit messy.
